Altius Charter
Permissioned blockchain for institutions

Your policies,
enforced by code

Altius Charter is a permissioned EVM blockchain for institutions that need to run a digital asset network on their own terms. Transfer rules are enforced at consensus, with role-based permissions to control who can read and who can write. Amounts, balances, and contract state can be kept confidential to the members you admit. You own and govern the network. Altius operates it

How it runs

Authored by your operators, enforced by the network

Control tower

The control tower

Your operators admit members, assign roles, and run approvals from one control tower, through an admin API kept separate from the network's public interface. Members transact on the network itself

Policy registry

The policy registry

Your policy administrator writes a deny list, an allow list, or an attestation requirement to a registry on the network, and every write bumps a version. Each transaction is checked against it, and a failed read refuses the transaction rather than permitting it

Altius network

The network

A permissioned EVM blockchain your institution owns. Every node enforces the same registry, at admission or at execution as you choose. Transactions settle in blocks with deterministic finality, so a settled transaction stays settled

Compliance, confidentiality, and security

Talk to us about your network

Compliance

  • Transfer policy written to the network, binding on everyone admitted
  • A hash-chained audit trail of every privileged action
  • Control coverage reported gap by gap, not as a percentage

Confidentiality

  • Amounts, balances, and contract state confidential between members
  • Scoped, time-bounded supervisor viewing keys that cannot spend

Security and custody

  • Ten pre-configured roles with distinct permissions
  • A second, distinct approver for validator changes
