Altius Venue
For exchanges

Trade, clear, settle

Altius Venue is specialized trading infrastructure built by high frequency traders. Define your matching rules onchain or off, set the fee mechanics, and write market listing policy enforced at the protocol, allowing your exchange to capture the value it creates

How it runs

Built for trading, settled like a chain

Matching

Bring your own order book or run HPEC

HPEC, Altius’s matching engine, is non-EVM and runs only the trading path, for sub-millisecond execution and capacity that comes from adding machines

Settlement

Fills settle on the network with deterministic finality

Batches commit as fast as every 60ms, with no challenge window and no reorg risk once settled

Deployment

Your exchange runs on a full EVM network

Your vaults, front ends, and existing contracts deploy unchanged. Collateral stays in contracts on the network, and traders withdraw straight from them if HPEC is unavailable

A high-performance engine on an EVM network

HPEC is a non-EVM engine built for trading, and Altius L1 settles its results as a standard EVM network that runs 24/7

Finality
Deterministic
  1. Matching built for one job

HPEC is non-EVM and runs only the trading path, so it does not carry the overhead or information leakage of general-purpose chains

  2. Order books added as markets grow

Each market can run its own order book, and capacity grows by adding machines

  3. Settlement on a standard EVM network

Altius L1 is EVM-compatible at Prague, so standard EVM tooling and wallets work, and a final block cannot be reorganized
